Use Cases
Discord inactivity presets for every workflow.
Pick the use case that matches your community workflow. Every preset is transparent, optional, and can be previewed before applying.
How these use cases work
These CleanerBot use cases are presets for Discord inactivity management. Each preset suggests safe defaults for decay timing, warnings, polls, and optional reward roles. You can review every step during
/start
before anything is applied. Choose the workflow that fits your server today, then fine-tune it later with
/config.
If none of the presets match perfectly, the manual setup section below walks you through the same decisions one by one.
For weekly health tracking, pair these presets with the Activity Health Score.
Gaming & RP
Invite players to stay active with decay warnings, polls every three days, and reward roles for streaks. This preset keeps the cadence visible, rewards consistency, and makes inactivity expectations clear without reading message content.
Creators & Subs
Keep supporters engaged with regular nudges, weekly polls, and streak-based reward roles. It is tuned for paid communities that want gentle reminders, predictable polls, and a clean way to review inactive members before any removals.
Education & Bootcamps
High-touch coaching cadence with early warnings, frequent polls, and muted reward announcements. This workflow supports cohorts and bootcamps that need structure, frequent check-ins, and a fair inactivity policy that can be explained to students up front.
SaaS & Product
Ghost-mode by default. Staff-only tracking, no member-facing warnings, and optional private reward roles. Ideal for customer communities where you want inactivity insights and cleanup tools without public callouts, while still keeping the review flow inside staff channels.
NGO & Volunteer
Quiet monitoring for volunteer hubs with staff-only poll and CTA handling plus long-lived thresholds. This preset favors stability, clearer grace periods, and fewer public nudges so volunteer teams can focus on coordination instead of constant reminders.
Ghost Mode
Background-only workflows that skip member-facing steps by design and keep warnings in staff channels. Use it when you want a privacy-first inactivity policy that runs quietly, avoids public pings, and still gives moderators clear signals and review checkpoints.
Default Standard Setup
Start with sensible defaults in Standard mode, then tune thresholds, activity signals, warnings, and reward roles manually via /config. This is the most flexible path if you want full control after a safe starting point.
Manual setup step-by-step
Prefer to build your own workflow? Use the Explanatory Setup to walk through every decision.
Nothing is auto-created unless you explicitly tap an auto-create option later.
Run /start anytime to revisit thresholds.
